Programmer Interview Questions


A programmer interview questions should be framed such that it tests all the qualities of a candidate like programming perception, clarity of programming language and strong grip on coding of the person concerned. A good programmer is also an excellent logical thinker and all these qualities are needed to be judged properly before appointing a programmer.

Sample Programmer Interview Questions

  1. Tell us something about your academic qualification in a nutshell.
  2. Why did you choose software programming as your field of work, despite of having so many branches of software available?
  3. What do you think is most essential for coding a programme with correct logical assertion and reasoning?
  4. As a programmer it is you who is going to be the mind behind all the executions and we are only going to use, so how do you analyse your position in the office pyramid?
  5. Which of the programming language amongst C, C++ and JAVA are you comfortable at?
  6. Are you satisfied with the pay packet and benefits we are offering?
  7. Why do you think our company should hire you amongst all the programmers whose curriculum vitae we have received?
  8. How are you going to handle the stress and deadlines both together at your work place?
  9. How will you make a complex code easier, by using control statements or by calling a function?
  10. Furnish us with some details of your interests in programming language and give us details of your training programme if any.
  11. If selected how soon you can join us?
